She has always had a passion for marketing beautiful high-end homes and luxury RVs. Velia became a Master Certified Negotiations Expert (MCNE) through the Real Estate Negotiations Institute (RENI) in January 2022. This program is the premier and most comprehensive negotiation designation program in real estate, and it contains multiple training courses covering professional negotiation theory and techniques, as well as practical application to real estate negotiation situations. These skills will positively impact both Velia’s clients’ results and provide the protection they need throughout the real estate transaction process.
In addition to real estate, Velia has also built a strong reputation for blending her custom artworks with high-end real estate properties. Velia’s original works exude energy with vibrant colors and textures that evoke authentic and positive emotions. She believes there is a strong relationship between art and luxury real estate since many high-end buyers are often art lovers. She uses various techniques in her art, including epoxy high gloss and body casting, to bring life to her property listings and help them stand out among thousands of condos and houses on the market through her creative staging processes.
Velia’s artistic work has been featured in regional and national media publications, been showcased in multiple galleries, and has received numerous awards. She continues to be a contributing artist to various organizations, such as: Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Children’s Advocacy Center Gala, and many more. Velia is on the Board of Directors for Aletha’s Legacy, a 501(c)3 dedicated to improving the education and welfare of underprivileged children in Liberia, as well as the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, a 501(c)3 providing services for children in Okaloosa and Walton counties that have been abused, neglected or assaulted.
In her free time, Velia enjoys attending Live Concerts, local festivals and charity events. She is often accompanied by her sidekick, Lexie Lu Lala, the long-haired chihuahua, who has also established a strong reputation in the community from her various appearances hanging at art galleries and her own dedicated Facebook page.
